Review: Wow Wow and WOW !Love this amazing food !TEN STARS⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 💛⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐We happily discovered this wonderful online shop (The Grecian Purveyor) about 2-3 years ago.I wanted to make a Mediterranean feast experience (stay-cation) for my partner's birthday long weekend - I decided that would be my gift (and set about sourcing recipes in this theme).For about a month I placed many many online orders though here (and only here), purely because I just kept finding new things we just had to try... 😏From special olives to white truffle oil to greek honey, teas, superfoods, condiments, preserved fish, the famous : 'tears of Chios', coffee, chocolate and wonderful liqueurs - we sampled it all 🤗I hid all the goodies away until the time came and wow did we feel like we'd gone to Greece!The whole experience was so lush and what a food adventure it was.Firstly, Iwas so genuinely inspired by the beautiful website and the stories about each delicious offering, the thoughtful health information that was included about item, it's history and recipes and recommendations on how best to enjoy it all.My partner used to be an excellent Barista - but he'd never had Greek coffee made in a Briki - such fun and an absolutely wonderful experience - the organic coffee prepared this way is like a tiny but mighty hit of happiness and energy with no jitters 😊I went all out - even bought Mediterranean sea salt and Citrus candles - and baked greek bread and pistachio orange cake It's rare to find consistently genuine and fabulous customer service - but I've found this time and time again in dear William, who is truly helpful, passionate and highly knowledgeable about what he does and he goes above and beyond.Since then, for us, it's not a proper celebration without goodies from The Grecian Purveyor (many visitors to our place have immediately gone online while still here to place orders so that they'll be waiting when they get home 😁)Good thing I don't live close to the actual store or I'd probably be there daily!I don't know quite how an online shop can elicit a 3 Dimensional experience - However, there's a special kind of feeling that somehow translates through this online shop - which to me, feels like a little piece of Mediterranean Heaven - that's my experience in any case #######Just a word or Warning ⚠️ :They do say that emulation is a form of flattery, and while that can indeed be true, in my book, flat out carbon copying the look of someone else's website (business) to the extend that it looks like the site has been duplicated or cloned is downright appalling - and sadly this is what's happened to this lovely online shop.Hey, I'm all for healthy competition and all that, but this feels all wrong - at least get your own look and don't just flat out copy (steal) someone else's.Fellow foodies, If you're wanting wonderful Greek food from ethical people (who support small family businesses over in Greece to continue to do what they love to do) then absolutely make SURE you are on this (Grecian Purveyor) website and not the 'other'The 'other' has the almost the exact same layout, look, colours, font, the same initials - and almost the same name (G.Providore) - So, at first glance, well, it's very confusing - However, the fact of the matter is that they are complete rip off merchants.Upon closer inspection, the quality and magical vibe is just not there (to me) - but I was in a rush yesterday and I almost placed an order before I realised I was on an imposter copy-cat website 😳########I wish nothing but good things for The (OG) Grecian Purveyor - and in me hey have a customer for life.William, thanks for sharing the magical gift of the beautiful foods you grew up with, with us all and I wish you nothing but the very best Now, it's time for some Halva ... 😏😁 😍L💫💛💫xx

Review: Authentic Greek produce of the highest quality and outstanding customer service. Each page has a detailed description of the product and it's origins in Greece, plus an ingredient breakdown – which I can only imagine would take a great amount of time to put together, but is incredibly helpful when purchasing. I can not recommend Grecian Purveyor enough!

Review: I purchased the Grecian Connoisseur Gourmet Hamper from the Grecian Purveyor as gifts for my ‘foodie’ friends, and never have I received such positive feedback for a gift. Beautifully packaged, and incredible selection of premium ‘fine dining’ greek products. I will definitely purchase again 🙂
